MAVO Edge 8K has multiple industry standard I/O ports.
There are two proprietary Kinefinity Video ports located on the front of the camera body. Users can use two Kinefinity monitoring devices (KineEVF/KineMON-5U/KineMON 7H/KineMON-7U) simultaneously.
There are two industry standard 3G/1.5G SDI ports located on the back of the camera body. The two SDI ports carry SDI metadata and audio signal.(*full functionality to come in next firmware update)
**Signal from Proprietary Kinefinity Video port is separated from SDI port signal, which enables users to have clean signal output for director/clients.
There is one USB Type-C port located on the back of the camera body. Users can connect their iOS devices through the USB Type-C port, and monitor through Kinefinity APP on iOS system. (*full functionality to come in next firmware update)
There are two XLR ports with 48V phantom power located on top of the camera body, enabling users to use industry standard audio recording equipment.
There is one 3.5mm stereo microphone port located on the front of the camera body.
There is one mono track internal mic for scratch audio recording during video recording.
There is one 3.5mm stereo audio output port located on the back of the camera body.
Audio sampling spec is Linear PCM. 24 bits, 48KHz.
Network and Wireless Interfaces:
There is one Gigabit Ethernet port (RJ45 type) located on the back of the camera body, required for livestream broadcast, camera control and data transfer.
The camera has internal WI-FI 5 for livestream and camera control.
Sync and Control I/O:
There are multiple industry standard sync and control ports located on the front and back of the camera body:
Timecode – Linear TC In&Out (0B5P socket)
Sync – Genlock (Regular BNC)
Control (*on the front) – Lens port with RS232 and 3A power output (0B6P socket)
Multi-Sync Control – SNYC with RS232 and Kinefinity camera sync (0B7P socket)
Run/Stop (R/S) – Recording trigger input with 3A power output (fischer 3-pin)
Extension – EXT port x2 (for pogo-pin, 10 contacts)
